Alto 4505 Deluxe Mount Cutting System
Picture mounting requires simple, good quality tools and equipment and that is what you will find listed in this section, mount card and boards and specialist cutters for every conceivable mount design along with essential accessories! The cutter’s unique Patented Dimensioning System enables users to quickly design layouts and cut and style a mount.
A larger version of Alto's 4501, it features a 36" straightedge to accommodate longer cuts and wider border widths on larger mats. It is constructed with elegant brass-plated aluminum parts. Position the 4505 for border widths up to 8" (203 mm). The 4505 system includes a 10" * 38" (254 mm * 965 mm) base unit.
These two Alto systems are constructed with a long lasting vinyl laminate hardboard base, and incorporate the popular Alto's Model 45 Mat Cutter. Adjust border widths quickly in 1/8" (about 3 mm) increments, or position the cutter to any point in between by using the Model 45 Mat Cutter's built-in, infinite width adjustments.
